1968 C10 Restoration Update - Part 21 - On the road!

So the to do list is getting pretty short on the 68. This last week got the cowl panel & antenna installed. The one Saturday put the last exterior piece of metal on the truck: the hood. Took a hour or so to get it fully adjusted and get the chrome back on it. Now just needs a little time to have the rubber bumpers form to the hood. After getting the hood on, decided to take if for a little drive around town and shake it down. Still need to install the front lowering springs and inner fender panels, which I will tackle this coming weekend. Then the only things left are the new tires I have ordered and then getting the tail pipes added to finish the exhaust.

Thanks, I’ve been twinning with my 68 C amaro and it has rally wheels so had to go that route.
